Summing-J-Box Installation
Wiring
- Cables should be routed to Summing Junction Box PC board
through the P68 cable grips. Leave enough cable inside the enclosure to facilitate
connection to the Summing Junction Box. Secure the cable by tightening the shell of
the the grip to ensure a watertight seal.
- Strip the outer sheath of the cable 3" to 4" then
strip the individual conductors by 3/16" to 1/4". If possible, tin the exposed
conductors with suitable solder. Ensure you have a clean conductor with no flux or
oxidation.
- Connect each of the four (4) load cell's cable to a five pin
Load Cell connector. Follow the load cells' manufacturer's wiring
color code. Note that the connectors are removable for ease of installation.
Ensure that connections are tight.
