Representatives of Measurement
Specialists and our sister company, National Scale, attended the Association of Iron and
Steel Engineers on September 29 through October 2nd, 1997.
This annual expo featured 473 exhibitors and was attended by 18,900
visitors. 30% of the exhibitors and attendees were from foreign companies, making this
event the largest steel related expo in the world.
Our feature attraction at the AISE expo was our new TL2000
Tension Link Crane calibration load cell, possibly the most accurate tension link in the
entire world. The stainless steel, hermetically sealed, TL2000 utilizes integral fastening
hardware. Accuracies of .1% of APPLIED LOAD have been achieved with calibration to
National Scale's digital instrumentation!
