An Arkansas steel mill needed to weigh the
scrap steel they grappled into a ladle carried on a flatbed railroad car
to make their "recipe" from the various types of scrap they
purchase. Subject to incredible loads and abuse, the six cars in service
must work day in, day out to provide the mill with two and a half million
tons of metal necessary per year.
